What AI Optimizer Does
AI Optimizer is a device storage management application that helps users free up space and organize content stored on their device. The app enables users to identify and manage items such as duplicate and similar photos, duplicate videos, blurry images, screenshots, short videos, duplicate contacts, empty contacts, and low-value calendar events. AI Optimizer also provides image and video compression tools to help reduce file size and improve storage efficiency.
In addition to device cleanup features, AI Optimizer includes an optional Gmail management feature. This feature allows users to connect their Gmail account and view their emails by category, including Spam, Promotions, Social, Forums…
Users can review emails within each category, open individual emails, select one or more emails, or select all emails in a category for deletion. All actions are initiated by the user, and deletion requires explicit user confirmation before any email is removed.
Why AI Optimizer Requests Access to Gmail
AI Optimizer requests access to Gmail only to provide the user with email organization and cleanup functionality inside the app. This access is used solely to display the user’s emails by category and to allow the user to review, select, and delete emails based on their own decisions and actions.
AI Optimizer does not use Gmail data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any unrelated purpose. The app does not automatically delete emails, does not make independent decisions on behalf of the user, and does not process email content for any purpose other than presenting the information necessary for the user to manage their mailbox.
Any analytics collected by AI Optimizer are limited to general app usage metrics, such as feature usage or the number of cleanup actions performed. These analytics do not involve the exploitation of the content of the user’s emails and are not used to infer personal, sensitive, or advertising-related information.
